From Adam to Jesus

Welcome! I’m Theresa Haigler, though my family and close friends call me “Tree.”

I am a minister’s wife, a mom of two married daughters, and a proud grandmother. I have served in children’s ministry, student ministry, and women’s ministry at my church, and I work in education during the week. But above all, my greatest passion is teaching God’s Word.

For many years, I have been fascinated by the incredible unity of Scripture. Although the Bible was written over centuries by many different authors, it tells one story—God’s redemptive plan to bring people to Himself through Jesus Christ.

That passion led to the creation of From Adam to Jesus, a Bible teaching ministry dedicated to helping people understand God’s Word as one connected story.

Through Bible studies, podcasts, articles, and teaching resources, my goal is to help believers:

• Understand the Bible in its historical and cultural context
• Discover the connections between the Old and New Testaments
• See Jesus throughout all of Scripture
• Grow in their knowledge, faith, and love for God

One of my favorite verses is 2 Timothy 3:16:

“All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness.”

I have found this to be true throughout my life, and it is the foundation of everything I teach.

The inspiration for this ministry comes from Isaiah 61:3:

“They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of His splendor.”

My prayer is that this ministry will help believers grow deep roots in God’s Word, stand firm in their faith, and display His splendor to the world.
